Pyschology Intern, PhD Candidate
Brooke Killion is a doctoral-level clinician in School Psychology with extensive training in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation for children, adolescents, and young adults. She has particular expertise in ADHD, executive functioning, anxiety, and learning differences, and she is passionate about helping neurodivergent individuals better understand their cognitive and emotional profiles.
Her background includes clinical work in school, university, and community settings, where she has supported clients navigating academic, social, and emotional challenges. Brooke is especially interested in working with adolescents and college-aged individuals and brings experience collaborating within campus and community systems to support student well-being. Her work across these settings has given her a nuanced understanding of the academic, social, and emotional demands facing young people today. She also has experience supporting clients navigating identity development, life transitions, and women’s mental health concerns within a broader, inclusive practice.
Brooke uses a strengths-based and collaborative approach and prioritizes clear communication throughout the evaluation process. She values providing practical, meaningful feedback that helps clients and families gain insight, build confidence, and move forward with greater clarity and direction. She is fully supervised by Dr. Crisler at SLN.
